Hey y'all I have a contract gig for a Data Engineer for a Gen AI project: 👨‍💻 Role Overview: 📍 Fully Remote 📆 Contract, 3+ months 💰 Competitive hourly rate 💪 Qualifications Required: • 5–8 years experience in data engineering with a focus on production-grade pipelines • Proven experience designing and building pipelines for Gen AI applications (LLMs, RAG workflows, embeddings, vector databases, etc.) • Strong Python and SQL skills; experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster) • Familiarity with Azure • Experience with data lakes, warehouse solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) Priority given to Databricks experience • Comfort working cross-functionally with ML engineers, PMs, and backend teams ✨ Preferred: • Experience integrating unstructured sources (Reddit, PDFs, CSVs, APIs) • Prior work with tools like LangChain, LanceDB, Pinecone, Weaviate, or similar • Background in ML Ops or previous exposure to Gen AI system architecture If this sounds like you, shoot me a DM and let’s talk.
