Hi fam, I am new to this community and came across the new CV Search (https://cerebralvalley.ai/search). I'm curious how can I add myself to this database to be searchable? And if you don't mind sharing, where exactly is this data coming from? I'd love to build a LLM based people search for a small community of mine here in Nordics. :D

Hey Ismail! The search is a beta feature we’re testing out. The data is from a subset of public linkedin’s of people who are in SF / tech / in the CV network. Eventually we plan to load in millions of profiles across various industries. The goal with that tool is to help find people for hiring / sales / etc. Interesting to hear that you’re looking to build something similar. Right now it’s purely internal, but we’re looking into exposing an API to build your own system in the future.

How do you ensure the consent of all these people considering the regulations around LinkedIn ToS? I checked out PeopleGPT from JuiceBox and they don’t have clarity on this either. Asking just for my general knowledge as I built an agent for events in my city but haven’t made it public cz afraid of breaking ToS of luma, eventbrite, etc 🥹

you can access the profiles publicly from a google search, so I don’t think it breaks any ToS
