Hey all, I have a friend who needs help with genAI illustrations for on-demand storybook generation for children, with characters based on photographs of real people. Anyone want some work helping them with prompts engineering for high-volume, hands-off production?

Looks cool, but still trying to fill this role.

Happy to help, Campbell. I write lead SFTech4Good and have leaned into AI pics for the last few issues from Nov. 2022 to Dec. 2023, when I formally put the community on hiatus because I need to channel my energy into work. With that said, prompting really is experimentation. Do you know if they’re using Midjourney or OpenAI?
I’ve used both, but paid for a Midjourney account until I decided to cut expenses…I’ll be back Midjourney! I miss you!!!

You can host your own model and then programatically generate whatever you want. See an example here:

Thanks all. Here’s a bit more on the opportunity. I’m not building it unfortunately so passing this on in case there’s interest… This is a paid consulting project, and I'm looking for someone with specific, successful, and rich experience with prompt engineering for illustrations. I'm trying to generate simple children's book illustrations using a LoRA (something like this). Generating and refining individual images is relatively easy, and that's not what we need help with. This project requires generating unique illustration sets for children's stories at high volume, on-demand, and at high quality with minimum human oversight. The main character and style needs to be consistent throughout the story / illustration set. I need someone who really knows their way around these tools and can help us sprint to problem-solve this use case, and ultimately create something awesome. If you're interested, reach out to lindsey@wlcm.studio. We enjoy the work, and you'll enjoy working with us.
