leading up to that hardware hack, we're running open studio sprints to help people explore opportunities in lab automation 🎯 first one is 05/25 and the goal is explore all things bio, ai, and hardware related. it will be a mix of scientists, software engineers, and lab auto engineers exploring new apis, new applications in ai, virtual twins, spatial computing, and more. • this first one will have a guest from berkeley's a-lab to share their work in material automation (nature, dec 2023) and give feedback on projects • this is set up like a micro-hack where it's open ended and people will form teams and explore whatever interests them • no experience in lab auto required. so far the response is about 1/2 and 1/2 (a good mix!) of people with experience and backgrounds in lab auto and those curious to explore. there are limited spots, as we're keeping this small to start. spots are filled on rolling basis.
