Vacancy 1: Technical Lead/Staff Software Engineer Location: Hybrid position, based in the NYC office (2 days per week). Compensation: Up to $250K (cash) plus equity and comprehensive benefits. This position is with our client's AI & Search Platform team, responsible for developing the next generation of AI platforms and search infrastructure. They oversee the platform and services that power AI & Search product features. In this role, you will closely collaborate with our talented AI researchers and engineers to optimize and deploy state-of-the-art LLMs into production. Qualifications: 1. A BS/MS degree in a relevant technical discipline such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering. 2. Experienced software engineer with the ability to design large-scale software systems, write high-quality code, and tests. 3. 5+ years of experience in building and deploying scalable cloud-based backend services and APIs, with knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS or GCP. 4. Proficiency in Java and Python, and familiarity with one or more of the following: Terraform, GraphQL, Javascript. 5. Compensation: Senior Staff Software Engineer, IC7: $211,000 - $269,000 / Staff Software Engineer, IC6: $192,000 - $245,000 / Senior Software Engineer II, IC5: $172,000 - $222,000 Each of these positions offers equity and outstanding benefits on top of the base salary, with the equity portion representing a substantial part of the total compensation. Technology Stack Options: Golang (Expert), React, and Typescript / Or Python, Java, React (Expert), Node Key Requirements: 1. Previous experience working at a startup, where you've built something meaningful from scratch is essential. 2. Infrastructure experience, not as a DevOps specialist, but as a Software Engineer with DevOps-lite responsibilities. For example, building systems in AWS or GCP. It's worth noting that this company does not have dedicated DevOps or SRE roles on their team, so everyone should be capable of working with tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.
