if LK-99 works, then we'll have to replace all of our devices: computers, smartphones, and everything to use superconducting. there will be more research to improve the purity of LK-99, look for variations, and then ramp up for large-scale production (millions of tons). lots of job opportunities for materials engineers 🙂
