Participate in JavaScript study over Zoom Hi engineers, CS students, alumni, and Cerebral Valley friends! Are you interested in making $40 while spending around 2 hours learning JavaScript web development techniques from professional websites you admire? My name is Gobi and I’m a PhD student in CS. I’m looking for CS students or alums (intermediate level developers) with JavaScript experience to participate in a user study over the next few weeks. You’ll be using a tool to help you make sense of a professional website and to gain an understanding of the site’s variable value transformations. This is a great way to learn about how professional websites are built and how code components work together to produce a visual update on your browser. The study should take around 2 hours and you will be compensated $40 for your time. If we go overtime, then you will be compensated extra accordingly. It will be conducted online through Zoom.
